ABOUT ABOUT

Join us for AN AMERICAN CHRISTMAS, a Radiance benefit concert and reception featuring fun and lively early American music from New England, Appalachian, and Shaker traditions. AN AMERICAN CHRISTMAS is a perfect performance for families, friends, and children to celebrate the holiday season. Raucous tunes in the shapenote tradition; simple, heartfelt Shaker melodies; and the proud and vigorous New England "primitive" style will take the audience on a journey discovering holiday fare from the variety of traditions that combine to create America's vital and inspiring musical heritage. This narrated performance features songs and carols for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the New Year.

**COVID precautions**

We are requiring all guests to provide a photo ID and proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID test taken no more than 72 hours prior to the performance. Guests must wear masks at all times inside the building when not actively drinking. Please note that singers will be unmasked during the performance.
